JT Addresses Trump’s Anti-Trans Policies at the Grammys
Last Sunday (Feb. 2), while walking the Grammys red carpet, rapper JT was approached by Out to address Donald Trump’s recent attacks on the transgender community. The controversial former President recently signed an executive order on Jan. 20 combatting gender ideology, declaring that there are only “two genders.” Earlier this week, Trump signed another order banning transgender athletes from participating in women’s and girls’ sports.
A longtime ally of the LGBTQ community, the former City Girls rapper offered an empowering message to trans individuals: “Continue being a bad btch.”* She elaborated, “Nobody can tell y’all a motherfking thing. They/them/him/her/she/he—whatever, you are that. Fck what anybody say. And still, write it on the paper. If they take it off the paper, write that btch in there.”*
JT Defends Lil Uzi Vert Against Homophobic Backlash
JT, known for her outspoken nature, also addressed the wave of homophobic remarks directed at her longtime partner, Lil Uzi Vert.
