Kevin Hart to Serve as First-Ever Emcee for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game
The NBA has announced that the legendary comedian Kevin Hart will be the first-ever emcee for the highly anticipated NBA All-Star Game, bringing his signature humor and boundless energy to the event. As a four-time NBA All-Star Celebrity Game MVP, Hart is no stranger to the NBA scene and will provide live commentary from courtside for fans both in the arena and across more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.
Joining Inside the NBAās Ernie Johnson, Hart will give commentary during the exciting new mini-tournament that has redefined the format of the All-Star Game. This yearās event will feature four teams and three games, with the first team to score 40 points declared the winner. NBA On TNTās iconic co-hostsāCharles Barkley (Team Chuck), Shaquille OāNeal (Team Shaq), and Kenny Smith (Team Kenny)āwill also serve as team general managers. Candace Parker (Team Candace) will manage the Castrol Rising Stars team.
In addition to Hartās hosting duties, music and performances will take center stage at the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. DJ Cassidy will lead a special āPass The Mic Live!ā segment with Bay Area icons E-40, Too $hort, Saweetie, and En Vogue. Before the game begins, Grammy Award-winning musician Raphael Saadiq will perform a tribute to the Bay Area, welcoming fans and introducing the All-Stars. The game will also pay tribute to Los Angeles in the wake of recent wildfires, featuring a powerful performance by Los Angeles firefighter and paramedic Dennis R. Rodriguez.
H.E.R. and Andre Iguodala to Lead All-Star Saturday Night
On Saturday, Feb. 15, Grammy Award-winning singer H.E.R., alongside four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala, will host State FarmĀ® All-Star Saturday Night. LaRussell will also take the stage during the 2025 CastrolĀ® Rising Stars game, while PJ Morton will perform the U.S. national anthem ahead of the fourth annual NBA HBCU Classic, which will be followed by an emotional rendition of the Black national anthem, āLift Every Voice and Sing,ā by Morton and singer Goapele.
