Wu-Tang Clan Reveals Final Chamber Tour and New Album, Plus Limited Edition Vinyl Release
Wu-Tang Clan is preparing for their highly anticipated Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber tour this summer. The legendary hip-hop group will hit arenas across North America to celebrate their extensive catalog, featuring major hits from their iconic debut Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and the Grammy-nominated Wu-Tang Forever.
Joining Wu-Tang Clan on the tour as the opening act will be Run the Jewels, the powerhouse rap duo known for their electrifying performances.
Tour Dates and Locations
The Final Chamber Tour will kick off on June 6 in Baltimore, Maryland, and will include major stops in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, New York, and Toronto. The tour will conclude on July 18 in Philadelphia. This marks the group’s final chance to tour together, making it a momentous occasion for fans.
RZA Reflects on the Special Nature of the Tour
In a statement, the RZA shared his excitement about the tour’s significance.
“Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world many chambers throughout our career; this tour is called The Final Chamber. This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture,” he said. “Most importantly, we’re here to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years.”
RZA also teased that the tour will feature some surprises. “On this tour, we’re playing songs we’ve never played before, and me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen,” he added.
New Album: Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman from The Wu-Tang
In addition to the tour, Wu-Tang Clan has confirmed the release of their new album Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman from The Wu-Tang, The Saga Continues Collection, dropping in April. The album will feature contributions from all members of the Clan and is produced entirely by Mathematics, a longtime Wu affiliate.
Limited Edition Vinyl Release
On Monday, Wu-Tang also announced the release of a special 180g 12” LP, featuring a live performance from their NY State of Mind Tour at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle in 2023. The vinyl is limited to just 1,500 copies and is available exclusively on Amazon Music for streaming and purchase.
