Emily Osment is calling it quits with her husband, Jack Farina—also known by his stage name, Jack Anthony—after just five months of marriage.
Emily Osment Files for Divorce
The Hannah Montana alum filed for divorce on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The news comes just days before what would have been their five-month anniversary on March 12, 2025.
According to court documents, Osment listed December 7, 2024, as their official date of separation, meaning the couple parted ways less than two months after tying the knot.
Prenup and No Children Involved
The divorce filing includes an attachment confirming that the couple had a prenuptial agreement, which should simplify the division of assets. Additionally, they do not share any children, making the split relatively straightforward.
A Short-Lived Love Story
While it’s unclear exactly when Osment and Farina started dating, the actress announced their engagement in 2023 after he popped the question. Despite being together for some time, it appears marriage wasn’t in the cards for the couple.
Emily Osment’s Career & Statement on the Divorce
Osment, who gained fame playing Lilly Truscott on Hannah Montana, is currently starring in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, reprising her role from Young Sheldon.
Addressing the split, Osment told TMZ:
“I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn’t work out.”
While the shockingly brief marriage has now come to an end, Osment seems focused on moving forward in both her personal life and career.
