Lele Pons just wanted to find out the gender of her baby — but her excitement almost landed her in the emergency room after a pretty dramatic fall!
The social media star and her singer-songwriter husband, Guaynaa, hosted a fun (and slippery!) gender reveal party on Friday. Instead of the traditional cake or confetti, they decided to reveal the news with a whole lot of pink slime.
A Wild, Slippery Celebration
The couple gathered family and friends, splitting them into two groups under signs that read “Boy” and “Girl.” In between the groups was a fake “dynamite” plunger, ready to be activated.
Lele and Guaynaa circled the trigger and pushed it down together — unleashing a downpour of pink slime all over the group standing under the “Girl” sign. That’s right — the two are expecting a baby girl!
The celebration quickly turned chaotic, though. In their excitement, Lele and Guaynaa ran around the room, but while Guaynaa managed to stay upright, Lele wasn’t so lucky. Since her side of the room was covered in slippery pink slime, she lost her footing, bumped into the “TNT” prop, and fell hard to the ground.
Video footage captured the fall — and it didn’t stop there. When Lele tried to get up, she slipped and fell again, drawing gasps from the crowd. Thankfully, friends and family rushed to her side, helping her to her feet, and it seems the tumble didn’t dampen her mood at all.
Thankfully, All Smiles — and a Sweet Moment
Despite the slip-up, Lele was all smiles afterward, showing no signs of injury — though fans joked she might want to invest in some non-slip shoes for the next party.
Lele and Guaynaa had announced their pregnancy earlier last month with a heartwarming Instagram post. Before going public, Lele had shared the big news privately with her friend and former “Dancing with the Stars” co-star Harry Jowsey during an emotional moment on his podcast Boyfriend Material.
Congratulations Are in Order!
All in all, it was a memorable gender reveal full of laughter, love, and a little bit of chaos. Congrats to Lele and Guaynaa on their baby girl — and maybe next time, a dry floor would be a safer bet!
