Amber Heard has some beautiful news to share — her family just got a lot bigger!
The Aquaman actress took to Instagram on Sunday to announce that she welcomed twin babies, a daughter and a son, making her a proud mom of three children. The announcement came on Mother’s Day 2025, which she described as one of the most unforgettable days of her life.
“Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget. This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years,” Heard wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post.
She introduced her new bundles of joy as Agnes and Ocean, revealing that the twins are keeping her “hands (and heart) full.” The touching post also gave fans a rare glimpse into her private life, as she reflected on her journey to motherhood.
“Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,” she shared. “I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.”

The twins now join their big sister, Oonagh Paige, who is 4 years old. Heard first became a mother in 2021 when she welcomed Oonagh via surrogate, choosing to raise her as a single parent.
While the 38-year-old actress has largely kept her personal life out of the spotlight — especially after her highly publicized legal battles and divorce from actor Johnny Depp — she has continued to embrace motherhood on her own terms, building her family in a way that reflects her independence and resilience.
In fact, Amber first teased that her family was growing back in December, but kept the details under wraps. She didn’t reveal that she was expecting twins at the time, making Sunday’s surprise announcement even more special for fans and followers.
This new chapter marks a significant and joyful milestone for Heard, who has long emphasized her desire to become a mother. Her candid post resonated with many, especially those who’ve faced fertility challenges or chosen to parent independently.
