Rocsi Diaz is speaking directly to fans after her absence from one of the most anticipated moments of the 2025 BET Awards.
Taking to Instagram, the beloved television personality expressed deep regret for missing the 106 & Park reunion, a nostalgic highlight during the network’s 25th anniversary celebration.
“I’m so sorry if I let you down,” Rocsi wrote. “Just know I tried everything possible to be a part of the 106 & Park reunion. It really meant a lot to me to be there with my fellow hosts. 106 was by far the best thing that’s ever happened to my life.”
Reflecting on a Career-Defining Show
Rocsi, who co-hosted 106 & Park alongside Terrence J, credited the iconic music countdown show with shaping her career and connecting her with a loyal fanbase.
“106 gave me the tools and foundation to become the TV host I am today,” she added. “Because of you—the livest audience—you’re the reason I’ve remained relevant all these years. Your love and support have fueled me to keep pushing and representing the culture on major platforms.”
A Major Opportunity Took Priority
In her statement, Rocsi revealed that a last-minute career opportunity prevented her from attending the reunion.
