Los Angeles authorities are intensifying their investigation into a shocking discovery inside a Tesla registered to rising singer D4vd.
The LA County Medical Examiner confirmed Tuesday night that the badly decomposed body found in the car belonged to a female approximately 5-foot-1 and 71 pounds. The victim had wavy black hair and a distinctive tattoo on her right index finger reading “Shhh…”, providing crucial clues in the ongoing investigation.
What Authorities Know So Far
When discovered, the victim was wearing:
- A tube top and black leggings
- Two pieces of jewelry: a metal stud earring and a metal chain bracelet shaped like a “W”
The Medical Examiner could not determine the victim’s exact age, cause of death, or further identifying details, but police have classified the case as a homicide.
“This is an active homicide investigation,” LAPD sources confirmed. “All leads are being pursued to identify the victim and establish the circumstances surrounding her death.”

How the Body Was Found
According to law enforcement, the body parts were discovered Monday inside a bag in the trunk of the Tesla, which was towed to a Hollywood impound lot after being found abandoned in the Hollywood Hills.
Investigators say the Tesla was never reported stolen, heightening concerns about how the victim ended up in the vehicle.

D4vd’s Involvement
The Tesla is registered to singer/songwriter D4vd, who is scheduled to perform tonight at the Filmore in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Sources say police notified D4vd about the discovery and the artist is fully cooperating with authorities.
“D4vd is shocked and cooperating completely with investigators,” a source close to the singer told TPR. “He’s providing access to the vehicle and any information requested by the LAPD.”
At this time, there are no indications that D4vd is a suspect, and police are focusing on identifying the victim and determining how the tragedy occurred.
The Investigation Ahead
Authorities are currently:
- Analyzing the Tesla for forensic evidence
- Reviewing security footage from the Hollywood Hills area
- Attempting to identify the victim through tattoos, jewelry, and other distinctive features
This case has sparked public concern and online speculation, given the high-profile nature of the vehicle owner and the unusual circumstances surrounding the discovery.
“This is a tragic situation that is being treated with the utmost seriousness,” LAPD officials said. “We are asking anyone with information to come forward.”
