NFL star Stefon Diggs, boyfriend of Cardi B, is embroiled in escalating legal trouble after being accused of assault and attempting to silence his ex-girlfriend, Mulan Hernandez. The Basketball Wives Orlando alum filed a lawsuit in April 2025, claiming Diggs attacked her and pressured her to sign a non-disclosure agreement to keep the incident private.
Court records reviewed by Page Six reveal that Hernandez’s filing was a countersuit to one Diggs filed in February, where he accused her of assault and extortion.
Allegations of Physical Assault
Hernandez alleges that on June 7, 2024, Diggs attacked her from behind, punching the back of her head and leaving her with a concussion. The lawsuit further claims that Diggs tried to prevent the incident from reaching the public or the NFL by pressuring her to sign an NDA.
“He mounted an effort to induce [her] into signing a non-disclosure agreement so that [his] malicious and egregious act would be kept from the NFL and from public view,” Hernandez’s filing states.
According to the complaint, Diggs allegedly sent his assistant to Houston to convince Hernandez to sign the agreement. She is now seeking at least $250,000 in damages, citing physical injuries, emotional distress, and medical expenses.
Diggs’ Counterclaims
In his February lawsuit, Diggs accused Hernandez and another woman, Brianna Mack, of property damage, assault, and attempted extortion following a night of partying. He alleged that Hernandez destroyed his belongings, became violent, and threatened him before filing her countersuit.
Neither Diggs nor his legal team has publicly responded to Hernandez’s assault and NDA claims.
