A recently released video from the U.S. Department of Justice reportedly shows Jeffrey Epstein attempting suicide in his Manhattan jail cell on August 10, 2019, the day he was found dead while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. The footage, labeled “J Epstein,” appeared as part of the Epstein Files document dump last Friday.
The video is reportedly graphic, reigniting debates and conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s death.
Video Removed, DOJ Report Suggests No Cell Cameras
By 3 PM PT, the video had been taken down, with the DOJ link now defunct. TMZ reviewed former Attorney General Bill Barr’s final report on Epstein’s death, which details all “available recorded video footage.” Crucially, the report does not mention any cameras inside Epstein’s cell, only cameras covering the common areas and stairways of the Special Housing Unit (SHU).
This aligns with the long-standing issue fueling conspiracy theories: Epstein’s cell door was never in view of these cameras. Had a camera existed inside his cell, the widespread rumors questioning the official suicide narrative could have been immediately addressed.
Epstein’s Death and Conspiracy Theories
Epstein’s death has been surrounded by public suspicion. While federal authorities insist it was suicide, his brother, Mark Epstein, maintains that he was murdered.
The Epstein Files have also revealed:
- Disturbing images of Epstein with underage females
- Footage from his private lairs
- Photos of Epstein with celebrities including Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Walter Cronkite, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Mick Jagger, Chris Tucker, and David Copperfield
These revelations continue to fuel speculation about who knew what and how far Epstein’s network extended.
