Ugandan artist Alien Skin has spoken out about his recent comments regarding his supposed retirement from music. During his recently concluded concert, Alien Skin shocked fans by announcing that he was stepping back from music to focus on his other business ventures.
However, in a new interview with Sanyuka TV, the singer clarified that he is not retiring but rather slowing down his musical engagements.
“I am not quitting music, but I’ll be taking it slow. I want to be able to get time to do many other things and also live my life to the fullest,” he said.
According to him, now that his major concert is done, he feels he has transitioned from the rising stars race into the legends category—a shift that allows him to manage his music career at a more relaxed pace.
What’s Next for Alien Skin?
Moving forward, Alien Skin revealed that he will likely perform only two major shows a year—his concert and the Nkwacho Festival. Additionally, he may consider performing on public holidays and festive occasions, depending on fan demand.
While he may not be as active in the industry as before, Alien Skin reassured fans that he will continue making music and entertaining his loyal supporters. His new approach signals a shift in his career, focusing on quality over quantity, ensuring that each of his performances is a memorable experience.
