Speaking to TMZ Live on Thursday, the Minnesota Senator described the clip as “horrible” and misleading, warning that many people online were being duped by the AI-generated footage.

The deepfake used footage from a real July committee hearing, making the video appear convincing. However, Klobuchar clarified that the statements attributed to her in the viral clip were completely fabricated.
“It’s disturbing how realistic this looks. I was talking about citizens’ privacy that day — not Sydney Sweeney’s cleavage,” she said.
