In a chilling new revelation, Bryan Kohberger — the man accused of murdering four University of Idaho students — allegedly viewed photos of college women in swimsuits, some of whom were reportedly connected to his victims.
According to NBC’s “Dateline”, law enforcement uncovered cell phone activity indicating Kohberger had been browsing social media profiles of bikini-clad female college students in the months leading up to the brutal November 2022 stabbings.
Victims Connected to the Content
“Dateline” and NBC News report that several of the women Kohberger viewed online were friends or followers of three of the victims: Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves, and Madison Mogen. The connection has further deepened the disturbing narrative of the suspect’s alleged obsession with his victims and other young women.
Search History Raises More Alarms
In addition to browsing photos of young women, investigators also say Kohberger’s search history included terms like “sociopathic traits in college students” and “can psychopaths behave prosocially,” reportedly searched just weeks before the murders. He also allegedly looked up infamous serial killer Ted Bundy, pornography, and even Britney Spears’ song “Criminal.”
Suspicious Location Data
Investigators reportedly have cell phone data showing Kohberger was near the crime scene — the off-campus house where the students were murdered — on multiple occasions, often during late-night hours.
Legal Status
Kohberger, a former criminology Ph.D. student, is facing four counts of first-degree murder. He has maintained his innocence and is expected to stand trial this summer.
As the trial date approaches, more chilling details continue to emerge, painting a disturbing picture of Kohberger’s alleged behavior and possible premeditation.
