As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial continues, new and disturbing allegations emerged on June 4 when fashion designer Bryana Bongolan testified about a terrifying event in 2016. Bongolan said that Diddy described himself as “the devil” and physically dangled her over the balcony railing of Cassie Ventura’s 17th-floor Los Angeles apartment.
The Harrowing Balcony Encounter
Bongolan detailed the incident, saying it happened in September 2016 and lasted approximately 10 to 15 seconds. She recalled, “He basically came up from behind me, lifted me up, and had me on top of the rail. I was trying not to slip and pushing back… For a split second, I was thinking that I was going to fall.”
She also recounted Diddy’s chilling words, “Do you know what the fk you did?**” before allegedly tossing her onto nearby furniture.
Physical and Emotional Impact
Following the incident, Bongolan said she suffered back and neck pain, and bruising on her leg. Photos of her injuries, taken by a former girlfriend, were shown to the jury as evidence.
The trauma has lingered long after the event, with Bongolan revealing she still suffers from night terrors and paranoia. “I used to scream a lot in my sleep,” she told the court.
Legal Action and Lawsuit
In response to the alleged abuse, Bongolan filed a $10 million lawsuit against Diddy last year, aiming to “seek justice for what happened to me on the balcony.” She testified about her reasons for pursuing the lawsuit, emphasizing the need for accountability.
Cross-Examination Reveals Drug Use
During cross-examination, Diddy’s attorney Nicole Westmoreland pressed Bongolan on her admitted history of drug use. Bongolan acknowledged that she and Cassie Ventura often used drugs together and admitted to selling drugs weekly. She described their preference for what she called “coco puffs,” a mix of cocaine sprinkled inside marijuana blunts.
Trial to Continue
Bongolan’s cross-examination is set to continue on Thursday, June 5, as the courtroom awaits further details from the emotional testimony.
