Cubana Chiefpriest Denies Abandoning Child

Nigerian entrepreneur and celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest has dismissed claims that he fathered a child with a woman linked to an ongoing feud involving Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy. In a firm response, the celebrity barman stated that it is impossible for him to have a child and deny responsibility, given his financial capacity and values.

The Allegations: A Feud Entwined with Burna Boy

The controversy arose amidst the ongoing rift between Cubana Chief Priest and Burna Boy. According to reports, Burna Boy had allegedly offered financial assistance to the woman in question, promising to relocate her and her child to Nigeria and take care of them.

However, the woman alleged that Burna Boy’s associates, Abu Salam and Lucky Udu, coerced her into claiming that Burna Boy had supported her when, in reality, he only sent her $350. She further accused Salam and Udu of demanding a percentage of any funds Burna Boy sent her, along with sexual favors.

In response, Lucky Udu denied the allegations, stating that he never asked for sexual favors or any percentage of the money.

Cubana Chief Priest Reacts: “I Would Never Abandon My Child”

Addressing the claims, Cubana Chief Priest categorically denied fathering the child. He emphasized that as a wealthy man, it is unthinkable for him to abandon any child that God might give him.

“God forbid that I have a child and abandon my child,” Cubana said. “Children are gifts from God. For all the money I have, God will never forgive me if I abandon a child.”

He also debunked the woman’s claims, stating he has no connection with her and no evidence exists to link him to her or the child.

“You say you born for me? Come to Nigeria. You say make I send money first—day baby dey hungry, say hospital bill choke, say you collect loan. I don’t even know you from anywhere, no trace whatsoever,” he added.

“No Need for Drama”

Cubana Chief Priest criticized the woman for trying to use the situation to gain attention and drag his name. He suggested that she might be exploiting the situation for public sympathy and involvement in the larger feud with Burna Boy.

“You born for big man, na dragging you wan use am drag the big man,” he remarked. “How much is child support wey go make me discharge pikin wey fit be C Ronaldo tomorrow?”

Public Reactions to the Drama

The saga has sparked widespread conversation on social media, with fans sharing mixed opinions about the allegations and Cubana Chief Priest’s response:

  • @NaijaGist: “Cubana Chief Priest handled this well. He’s clear and firm about his stance.”
  • @AfrobeatsFan: “Too much drama lately. Let’s focus on the music and leave personal lives alone!”
  • @RealTalk: “This is messy, but Cubana has a point. If he’s not the father, the woman should prove it or move on.”

Final Thoughts

The allegations against Cubana Chief Priest come at a time of heightened tensions within the Nigerian entertainment scene. While he has categorically denied the claims and reaffirmed his values as a father, the drama involving Burna Boy and his associates continues to unfold.

As fans and observers await further developments, this controversy serves as a reminder of the complexities and pressures faced by public figures in navigating both personal and public disputes.
