2024 has undoubtedly been a breakthrough year for Ugandan artist Dax Vibez, marking his most successful chapter since beginning his music career right out of high school.
While he has been releasing music since 2016, none of his earlier tracks have matched the massive success of his recent collaboration with Ava Peace on the hit single Tabbu. This follows his 2023 mega-hit with Vinka, Believe, which many hailed as the anthem of the year.

Mugume highlighted how Tabbu has dominated music charts, holding the number one position on Apple Music’s top songs in Uganda.

He’s been singing for a while, and now finally has the number one song on Apple Music in Uganda – Tabbu with Ava Peace,” Mugume shared. “His other song with Vinka – Believe, also topped charts for a very long time. His lyrics and choice of collaborations are rich and have greatly contributed to his success.”
