Denise Bidot, model and longtime on-and-off girlfriend of rapper Lil Wayne, has come forward with serious allegations of physical abuse and emotional mistreatment. In a series of emotional Instagram Stories posted on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025, Bidot revealed that the rapper not only ended their relationship via text, but also had her and her teenage daughter, Joselyn Adams, removed from their shared home—just days after she underwent surgery.
“This is a new low,” Bidot wrote, expressing heartbreak and frustration while trying to remain composed for the sake of her daughter. “I’ve been through a lot, but this is different.”
The 38-year-old model went on to allege that Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., had physically assaulted her during their relationship. She also implied that she was not the only woman who had suffered abuse at his hands, though she did not provide specific names or details.
A History of Breakups and Reunions
Bidot and Lil Wayne first made headlines in 2020 when they confirmed their relationship on social media. Despite frequent ups and downs—including a public breakup in 2022—the two had reportedly rekindled their romance, although the timeline of their latest reunion remains unclear.
This latest split appears to be the most painful yet, not only due to its timing on Mother’s Day, but also because Bidot and her daughter were allegedly forced out of their home with little warning.
Abuse Allegations and Industry Silence
As of now, Lil Wayne and his representatives have not responded publicly to the accusations. The rapper, a father of four, has remained silent on his social media platforms since the allegations surfaced.
Fans and followers have begun voicing support for Bidot online, while also demanding accountability and transparency from the Grammy-winning artist.
Bidot Focuses on Healing
While Bidot did not reveal her current location, she ended her post with a message of self-empowerment and protection:
“My daughter deserves peace. I deserve peace. No one deserves to be silenced or pushed aside. Not anymore.”
