Former GoodLyfe member Diamond Oscar has boldly declared himself the freshest and most stylish artist in Uganda, sparking conversations across the music scene. He proudly highlighted his smooth skin, pleasant fragrance, and high-end tattoos, which he claims cost a staggering UGX 200 million.

In a recent interview, Diamond Oscar emphasized his legendary status, asserting that his contribution to Uganda’s music industry places him in the same league as international stars like Asake, Wizkid, and Burna Boy. He dismissed comparisons to fellow Ugandan artist Big Eye, calling them demeaning.

“Never compare me to Big Eye because I am a legend. I worked for it,” he stated emphatically. “I have songs that have inspired different generations and rising stars. Comparing me to him means you have underlooked me.”

The singer also revealed his motivation for returning to Uganda after some time away. According to Diamond Oscar, the local music industry has seen a rise in vulgar lyrics, and he is determined to restore quality and respectability to Ugandan music.

“I’m back in the country because the music had turned out to be too vulgar,” he explained. “I want to bring about change and ensure artists produce content that resonates with all audiences.”
