A video posted to X (formerly Twitter) captured the fiery spectacle as fans mocked Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who struggled during the game, throwing two interceptions. The burning Kermit doll was a direct jab at Mahomes, whose voice has long been compared to the beloved puppet.
As the Kermit doll burned, fans chanted, “F* the Chiefs”**, reveling in the Eagles’ second Super Bowl title.
Patrick Mahomes’ Longstanding Kermit Comparison
The Mahomes-Kermit comparison isn’t new. Back in November, some Bills Mafia fans took things too far, hanging a Kermit puppet dressed like Mahomes from a pole outside their stadium.
