Eric Murphy, son of comedy icon Eddie Murphy, has officially married Jasmin Lawrence, daughter of fellow legend Martin Lawrence, in a low-key private ceremony.

Eddie Murphy broke the news during a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, revealing that Eric and Jasmin opted for an intimate wedding—just the two of them and a preacher.
“They skipped the big Hollywood wedding. Just them, a preacher, and love,” Eddie shared, smiling. “They wanted it to be private and meaningful.”
The couple, who started dating in 2021, had originally teased plans for a grand wedding before announcing their engagement in November 2024 with a romantic, candlelit proposal video on Instagram that instantly melted fans’ hearts.
A Future Celebration Might Still Happen
While the official ceremony was quiet, Eddie hinted that a larger celebration could still be in the works.
“There might be a party later… and maybe me and Martin will get up and sing something ridiculous together,” he joked.
