On a new episode of Joe and Jada, his podcast with fellow rap icon Jadakiss, Fat Joe recounted an unexpected encounter with Desiigner just hours before the rapper was involved in an indecent exposure incident on an international flight.

While discussing one-hit wonders in hip-hop, Jadakiss brought up Desiigner’s 2016 smash hit “Panda,” prompting Joe to remember the bizarre coincidence.

As the conversation continued, Joe suddenly recalled,
“You know what’s crazy? I seen him in Dubai at the airport that day. The same f**king day. He seemed so normal. I’m like, ‘Yo, what’s up, man?’ Then the next thing I know, when I arrive in the States … tumblin’ dice.”
Desiigner’s In-Flight Controversy
The “Panda” rapper made headlines in 2023 after he exposed himself to a flight attendant during a flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis. He later pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and was ordered to register as a sex offender.
Reports alleged Desiigner also masturbated during the flight. At the time, his team said he had been struggling with his mental health and had stopped taking prescribed medication.

“I didn’t know what I was doing. I was fully tweaked out of my mind,” he said.
“When I was vegan, I didn’t have enough sugars and stuff like that, so it was like I was out of my body.”
He claimed a combination of poor diet, medication, and exhaustion led to the incident:
“I was on medication and just went to sleep on the plane. I’m, like, out of my body saying wild sh*t.”
