In a powerful and emotional testimony during the ongoing federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, a former assistant—identified in court as Mia—detailed years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse she says she endured while working for the music mogul.
Her allegations add to mounting claims in the case, which includes racketeering and sex trafficking charges against Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty.
“He Threw Me Into a Pool”: Mia Recounts Violent Incidents
Mia described a deeply volatile environment, where she says Diddy routinely lashed out with violence and emotional control.
“He’s thrown things at me. He’s thrown me against the wall. He’s thrown me into a pool,”
she testified, noting the unpredictability of daily life under his employment.
She also recalled witnessing disturbing behavior toward Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s former partner, including an incident where Cassie was left bleeding on a hotel floor.
Alleged Assault Began in 2009 at Diddy’s 40th Birthday
Mia said the abuse began in 2009 during Diddy’s 40th birthday party at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
She testified:
“I woke up disoriented in his suite and believed I had been sexually assaulted.”
Fear and power imbalance, she said, kept her silent for years.
As her role continued, she described further incidents of abuse—at Diddy’s Los Angeles home, on his private jet, and during professional duties that blurred into personal violations.
“I felt like I couldn’t say no, even to small requests,” she explained, citing coercion and surveillance.
Drug Use, Isolation, and Psychological Control
Mia also testified that Diddy pressured her into taking ketamine, often in settings that felt manipulative and unsafe. She painted a grim picture of life under his control—long hours, minimal rest, constant monitoring, and no formal recognition or safe outlet to report the abuse.
“I thought no one would believe me,” she said tearfully. “It was the most dehumanizing time of my life.”
Supporting Testimony from Cassie Ventura’s Former Stylist
Mia’s testimony followed statements from Deonte Nash, former stylist to Cassie Ventura, who described how Diddy manipulated and isolated Ventura, allegedly keeping her career and personal autonomy under tight control. Nash claimed the emotional damage to Cassie was extensive.
What’s Next in the Trial?
With both testimonies now part of the record, the federal trial continues to unfold under intense media scrutiny. Diddy, now 55, has denied all allegations and maintains his innocence.
As the case develops, public attention remains sharply focused on what could become one of the most high-profile legal reckonings in the music industry’s history.
