Gracie Hunt, daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, is taking no chances ahead of the team’s potentially historic Super Bowl appearance. The 25-year-old, who believes in “Chiefs magic,” told TMZ she is keeping up with her pre-game rituals in the hopes of securing another championship win.
A Superstitious Approach to Super Bowl Sunday
Catching up with TMZ at Shaq’s Fun House on Friday night, Gracie expressed her family’s excitement and gratitude for another Super Bowl appearance. However, when it comes to game day preparation, she admitted to being a little bit superstitious.
“I’m going to do exactly what I did before the past couple of victories … work out and pray.”
While she doesn’t go so far as to claim that prayer determines the game’s outcome, she’s sticking with what has worked—especially as no team in NFL history has ever won three consecutive Super Bowls.
Gracie Hunt: From Pageants to Football Royalty
Gracie isn’t just the Chiefs owner’s daughter—she’s also the granddaughter of team founder Lamar Hunt. She made headlines in 2021 when she was crowned Miss Kansas USA and went on to become a semi-finalist in the Miss USA competition.
Faith, Controversy, and Harrison Butker
Gracie has often been outspoken about her faith and religious beliefs, which have sometimes placed her at the center of controversy. Last year, she defended Harrison Butker during the backlash over his controversial comments on gender roles.
During an interview on Fox & Friends, Gracie voiced her support for the Chiefs kicker, saying:
“I really respect Harrison and his Christian faith and what he’s accomplished on and off the field.”
Super Bowl Weekend in Full Swing
With Super Bowl LIX just hours away, Gracie seemed to be soaking up the moment, partying alongside other celebrities at Shaq’s Fun House in New Orleans. For now, though, her focus is on cheering for the Chiefs and hoping their magic continues!
