MMA Fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos Dies by Suicide, Leaves Behind Tragic Legacy
Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos, a former MMA fighter who competed in both the UFC and Bellator, tragically died by suicide on October 15. The 30-year-old fighter, who once dated pop star Demi Lovato, was discovered by a woman at an Illinois home early that morning, prompting authorities to investigate.
The police report reveals that Vasconcelos took his own life the previous evening, around 11:45 PM. The discovery of his body in the garage followed a review of security camera footage, which helped establish the timeline. No suicide note was found, and a search of the home revealed several vials of anabolic steroids, including two mostly empty and two unopened vials. The toxicology report confirmed only one positive substance—caffeine.
