Alana Thompson, better known to the world as Honey Boo Boo, is weighing in on Todd and Julie Chrisley’s post-prison glow-up — or, in her words, lack thereof.
The reality TV star opened up to Page Six about the recently released couple, who were granted presidential pardons from Donald Trump this past week. And while Alana kept things mostly respectful, she didn’t hold back when it came to Julie Chrisley’s new appearance.
“She Looks Older, But I Get It”
Julie was spotted running errands for the first time since her release, sporting noticeable gray hair and a far more natural look than fans might remember. And Honey Boo Boo noticed.
“I’m not saying she looks bad,” Alana explained, “but she definitely looks like an older woman now.”
Still, she was quick to acknowledge the lack of beauty resources in federal prison, saying it’s no surprise Julie came out with a more aged appearance. “They’re not exactly handing out salon treatments in there,” she joked.
Todd’s Bagged Look? “Kinda Hilarious”
As for Todd Chrisley, he raised eyebrows after being seen shopping with a bag over his face post-release — seemingly to dodge paparazzi.
Alana found the moment more funny than shocking. “It was kinda hilarious,” she said, laughing off the dramatic disguise.
The Chrisleys Speak Out
Just days after their release, Todd and daughter Savannah Chrisley held a press conference, where Todd proclaimed his innocence and criticized the justice system. He claimed he was “railroaded” by the DOJ and maintains he never should have been behind bars in the first place.
The couple had been convicted of federal bank fraud and tax evasion, but Trump’s pardon wiped the slate clean.
Honey Boo Boo Isn’t Getting Political
Unlike other celebs who’ve weighed in on the pardon with hot takes on Trump’s motives, Honey Boo Boo kept it light.
She steered clear of the political drama, focusing instead on her signature brand of blunt fashion commentary. “I ain’t mad at them,” she said. “But Julie might wanna hit a salon.”
