Daniel Park, the man arrested in connection with the deadly Palm Springs fertility clinic bombing, has died by suicide while in federal custody — and his fellow inmates, including podcast personality Luce Cannon, are showing no remorse.
Park reportedly leapt headfirst from the top tier inside the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles, ending his life during the early morning breakfast rotation on Tuesday. According to Luce, no one flinched.
“Nobody lost a wink of sleep,” the former No Jumper co-host told TMZ Hip Hop. “They didn’t know him from a can of paint — but if they did, someone probably would’ve killed him anyway.”
Park Accused in Chilling Fertility Clinic Bombing
Authorities had arrested Park for allegedly supplying 270 pounds of ammonium nitrate to the prime suspect behind the May 2025 car bomb attack on a fertility clinic in Palm Springs — a blast that shook the area and left multiple people injured.
The case had generated nationwide attention, with prosecutors calling it a domestic terrorism plot. Park’s role as an alleged accomplice drew severe condemnation, and according to inmates, would have made him a target behind bars.
Eyewitness Account from Luce Cannon
Luce, who is being held at the same facility for his alleged role in the “Operation Draw Down” RICO case involving street figure Big U, says he saw Park’s “lifeless” body after the fatal fall and described a complete lack of empathy among inmates.
“It was just lockdown for a couple hours. Then it was back to normal. No crying over cowards.”
Luce also doubled down on his innocence in his own legal battle, despite being named in a federal indictment earlier this year.
Suicide Sparks Mental Health Reminders
Park’s suicide is the latest in a troubling pattern of inmate deaths in federal detention centers, raising renewed concerns about mental health access behind bars.
