Ja Rule Slams 50 Cent Over Concert Ticket Claims: ‘Fat Liar’ or Marketing Genius?

The decades-long feud between Ja Rule and 50 Cent reignited this week after 50 Cent doubled down on his infamous claim about buying concert tickets to leave seats empty.

In a recent interview, 50 Cent recounted his alleged prank, saying, “I did [buy Ja Rule’s tickets]. They were cheap tickets. The tickets were very affordable. They were on StubHub. I bought the first four rows.” He added, “It wasn’t that big of a sacrifice. I’ve bought things that mean less to me. That was fun, watching the show and seeing the spaces are empty because they were reserved for someone else.”

Unimpressed, Ja Rule took to X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, December 29, to slam 50 Cent’s remarks. He labeled him a “fat fucking liar” and challenged fans to prove the incident ever happened.

“You believe this dumb shit???” Ja Rule wrote. “Like I said before, I got 10k for ANYONE who can produce this footage, a photo, shit—what city/venue did this said show take place??? @50cent is a fat fucking LIAR.”

When a fan anticipated 50 Cent’s rebuttal, Ja Rule sarcastically replied, “Me too… [crying face emoji].”

This isn’t the first time Ja Rule has dismissed the allegations. Back in 2019, after 50 claimed he purchased 200 tickets to a Ja Rule concert, the “Always on Time” rapper clapped back on social media, calling 50 a “pathological LIAR.” He even offered a cash reward for proof.

“This [clown emoji] 50 Cent is the pathological LIAR. I’ll cash app 10 bands to ANYBODY who has pics or footage of said show bozo bought 200 tix to so it could be empty… I’ll wait… y’all believe anything goofy [they] tell y’all.”

Despite years of drama, the feud between the two rap legends shows no signs of cooling down. Fans are eagerly awaiting 50 Cent’s response, knowing his penchant for trolling.
