Jason Pierre-Paul is making it clear — he’s not done with football just yet. The two-time Super Bowl champion tells TMZ Sports he’s hungry for an NFL comeback in 2025, and he’s feeling better than ever.
Now 36, the former New York Giants star says he’s slimmed down to 270 pounds and is moving like he’s in his early twenties. “I’ve got abs!” Pierre-Paul exclaimed, adding, “I haven’t had abs since my rookie year. That’s how hard I’m working.”
Locked In and Ready to Play
Pierre-Paul last appeared on an NFL field in 2023 with brief stints for the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins. Although his sack numbers have declined in recent seasons — just 5.5 total since 2021 — the veteran edge rusher insists he’s “still got it.”
“Anybody that gives me the opportunity, I’m ready to go and I’m ready to rock right now.”
To back it up, JPP has been flooding social media with intense offseason training videos, showing off both his speed and lean new physique.
Advice for Giants Rookie Abdul Carter
During the interview, the 2010 first-round pick even offered some encouraging advice to Giants rookie linebacker Abdul Carter, who’s trying to find the right jersey number heading into the 2025 season.
What’s Next?
While no official offers have rolled in yet, JPP seems determined to make a strong case for one last shot in the league. Whether it’s with a playoff contender or a team in rebuild mode, he’s confident that any franchise that takes a chance on him won’t regret it.
