Julie Chrisley is officially a free woman — and she’s not wasting a second of her new beginning. After more than two years behind bars, the Chrisley Knows Best star was spotted back in Nashville on Thursday, looking relieved, refreshed, and focused on everyday life.
First Stop? The Butcher Shop
Julie was photographed with a big smile on her face as she stepped out of a local butcher shop in Nashville. Dressed casually and wearing her natural hair, it was clear she’s still catching up on her post-prison to-do list — and the salon hasn’t made the cut just yet.
Pardon Signed, Prison Behind Her
Julie had been serving a 7-year sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion, stemming from a 2022 conviction she shared with her husband, Todd Chrisley, who received a 12-year sentence.
But that all changed when Donald Trump issued a last-minute pardon, clearing the way for Julie’s early release. She was picked up Wednesday night from Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky by her son Grayson Chrisley. Meanwhile, daughter Savannah Chrisley was in Florida to bring Todd home from Pensacola.
Life After Lockup — But Not Debt-Free
Despite the good news, there’s still a major financial shadow looming over the Chrisleys. They reportedly owe $17.8 million in restitution — a debt tied to their fraud case. Still, Julie doesn’t seem to be letting that hold her back. If anything, she’s soaking in every bit of her newfound freedom.
Family Reunion in Progress
The Chrisleys’ return to civilian life is already capturing attention, with fans and critics alike watching closely to see what’s next for the once high-flying reality TV family.
For now, Julie’s smile says it all: freedom over everything.
