Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, made an unexpected and warmly received appearance at one of L.A.’s FireAid concerts on Thursday night. The crowd at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California erupted into cheers as the couple stepped into the spotlight.
A Star-Studded Night of Support
In video footage obtained by TMZ, Harris and Emhoff are seen smiling and waving at excited fans, who eagerly captured the moment on their phones. The concert featured an impressive lineup of performers, including Billie Eilish, Earth Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Sting.
Simultaneously, another FireAid concert was being held at the Kia Forum, where a bevy of stars took the stage, including John Mayer, Anderson .Paak, Dr. Dre, and Joni Mitchell.
Continued Support for Fire Victims
This marks the second time in a week that Harris and Emhoff have been actively supporting relief efforts for those affected by the L.A. wildfires. After the 2024 election loss to Donald Trump, the couple returned to Los Angeles and immediately engaged in relief work, helping serve food to displaced victims in a local kitchen.
Looking Forward
Their presence at FireAid signals their ongoing commitment to community service, as they continue to assist those impacted by recent disasters. With their recent visibility at various relief efforts, it’s clear that Kamala and Doug are staying engaged and active in the aftermath of the election.
