Karrine Steffans is questioning her past with Sean “Diddy” Combs in the wake of his explosive legal troubles.
During an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Steffans—best known for her Confessions of a Video Vixen book series—opened up about her interactions with the embattled Bad Boy mogul following his recent acquittal on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
While she initially denied having a sexual relationship with Diddy, her comments took a chilling turn as she admitted:
“Well, not to my knowledge. Honestly, I’m questioning a lot of things right now.”
“I Can’t Be Sure”
When asked directly by Morgan whether Diddy ever used drugs or alcohol to take advantage of her, Steffans paused before saying:
“I don’t know. Given what we know now, I can’t be sure.”
Her uncertainty has reignited conversations about power dynamics, coercion, and abuse within the music industry.
The 2001 Encounter That Haunts Her
In a Daily Beast interview back in September 2024, Steffans revealed she was introduced to Diddy under troubling circumstances more than two decades ago.
“In retrospect, I realized that I was given to him as a gift by another executive,” she said.
“Diddy’s car pulled up… He asked who I was, and the men spoke for me.”
She didn’t elaborate on what transpired next but suggested she had felt powerless in that moment.
“It’s Not Just Diddy”
Steffans stressed that the issues she experienced weren’t limited to one man or even the music industry:
“It’s not just Diddy, and it’s not just music or hip-hop,” she said.
“Men who hate women, men who hate who they are, who can’t admit to their sexuality… They beat us early and often.”
Her words resonated across social media, sparking heated debates about misogyny and accountability in entertainment circles.
A History of Speaking Out
Steffans became a polarizing figure in the 2000s after the release of her New York Times best-selling memoir Confessions of a Video Vixen in 2005, which detailed her experiences with some of hip-hop’s biggest stars.
She followed up with:

Diddy’s Silence
As of now, Diddy has not publicly addressed Steffans’ latest comments. His team remains focused on combating his own slew of legal battles, which have rocked the music industry in recent months.
