Lil Yachty has expanded his growing business empire with the launch of his own tequila seltzer, Yacht Water, on February 27th. Partnering with Kevin “Coach K” Lee of Quality Control and Sneaky Pete Spirits, Yachty created a drink that reflects his personal taste, aiming to offer something more enjoyable than the typical alcohol options.
In a playful ad promoting the drink, Yachty humorously admits, “I’m sure you guys know I don’t really enjoy alcohol,” explaining that his decision to create Yacht Water stemmed from his dislike of traditional alcoholic beverages. “Honestly, it’s not that I don’t want to, I just don’t like the taste. I wanted something that tastes good, so I made Yacht Water.”
The launch has already made waves, catching the attention of fans and celebrities. Justine Skye commented on Yachty’s Instagram post, saying, “Send me some.” One fan praised his entrepreneurial spirit, writing, “There’s a reason why Boat is my fave artist lmao – dude is a genius!”
For now, Yacht Water is available at select retailers, primarily in the Atlanta area, but given Yachty’s successful track record with brand collaborations, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the drink expand nationwide. Over the years, Yachty has secured major endorsement deals with prominent brands such as Target, Sprite, Nautica, Axe, Adidas, and Alexander Wang, further solidifying his knack for blending business with his personal brand.
On the music front, Lil Yachty has been relatively quiet in 2025. His most recent major release came in 2024, when he collaborated with James Blake on their album Bad Cameo. While fans eagerly await new music, Yachty continues to build his presence in both entertainment and business, further establishing himself as a multi-talented entrepreneur.
