Ugandan comedians MC Nakayima and Nilo Nilo have officially announced their partnership as the newest comedy duo in town. The decision comes after two weeks of successful collaboration, and both comedians are confident they made the right move.
The duo shares a deep bond, having known each other for over 15 years since childhood. MC Nakayima revealed that the passing of his former comedy partner, Cold Q, left him performing solo, which prompted him to team up with Nilo Nilo.
The tragic loss of Cold Q, who succumbed to an illness, marked a turning point in MC Nakayima’s career. “I needed someone to complement my work, and Nilo Nilo was the perfect fit,” he shared.
Nilo Nilo, on his part, explained that his previous partnership with Bobi Brown had been inconsistent. This, along with his desire for a stable collaboration, made teaming up with MC Nakayima a logical decision.
Addressing his former partner’s struggles, Nilo Nilo noted, “My colleague is facing personal challenges and health issues that require surgery. This is the time for him to focus on himself while I continue pursuing my comedy career.”
