Sources told CNN that investigators also found a Father’s Day card addressed to Boelter, buried in a bag of ammunition — further pointing to the disturbing level of planning.
Flyers for anti-government “No Kings” demonstrations were also found in the vehicle. Officials have warned the public to avoid such events “out of an abundance of caution.”
Second Assassination Attempt: State Senator Targeted
In addition to the fatal shooting of Rep. Hortman and her husband, Democratic State Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette were shot multiple times at their home in a separate but linked attack.
