Northern Uganda artists shone brightly at the recently concluded Northern Uganda Music Awards (NUMA) held at the iconic Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu City. The event celebrated the region’s exceptional talent across various genres, recognizing both emerging and legendary figures in the music industry.
Lucky David Wilson Takes Top Honor
The coveted Overall Artist of the Year Award went to Lucky David Wilson (Abwola David Wilson), who also walked away with a cash prize of Shs 2 million. Wilson further solidified his position as a regional favorite, clinching two additional awards: Rumba Artist of the Year and Consistent Artist of the Year.
The event, hosted by Jams Production, drew thousands of music enthusiasts and industry players, underscoring the growing influence of Northern Uganda’s music scene.
