Rachel Zegler is reaching out to her fans for help after multiple visits to the vet have left her dog, Lenny, still suffering and without a diagnosis.
The West Side Story star took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday morning to update her 2.5 million followers about her dog’s concerning health condition. According to Zegler, her pup has been experiencing severe stomach issues and a total loss of appetite—yet, despite several vet visits, she says she’s gotten no real answers.
“I’m at my wits’ end,” Zegler Says of Lenny’s Ongoing Discomfort
Zegler expressed her frustration online, saying she’s done everything she can—including feeding him a bland diet of chicken and rice prepared by her mom—but nothing seems to be working.
“If one more vet tells me to just take Lenny home and wait it out while he’s in so much discomfort and literally spraying all over my apartment with such urgency, I’m going to lose it,” she wrote.
Despite his stomach issues, Rachel noted that Lenny is still active and playful, and no visible lumps or abnormalities have been found. But with a trip “across the ocean” coming up in a few days, the actress says she’s panicking over having to leave him behind while he’s still unwell.

Just last month, Zegler celebrated Lenny’s second birthday with a sweet photo collage and a heartfelt caption: “Life is better with him in it.” Her Instagram bio even reads “lenny’s mom,” showing just how deep their bond goes.
Now, as Lenny continues to battle a mystery illness, Zegler is leaning on her fans and social media communities in hopes of finding answers—and, ultimately, relief for her furry best friend.
