Rob Zombie has officially sold both of his iconic Hollywood Hills homes, wrapping up a major real estate move just three months after listing the properties for $9 million.
According to sources, the heavy metal legend sold the two homes to separate buyers for a combined $8.9 million. The smaller 2-bed, 2-bath property fetched $3.4 million, while the neighboring 3-bed, 3-bath estate went for $5.5 million.
A Healthy Profit
Zombie and his wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, purchased the homes for $2.5 million and $4.5 million in the past. That means the couple walked away with nearly $2 million in profit — a tidy win on the Hollywood Hills market.
“A nearly $2 million profit on these architectural gems? That’s worth celebrating,” sources said.

Architectural Gems of the ’50s
Both estates were designed by famed architect Robert “Boulder” Thorgusen in the 1950s and are known for their mid-century modern style and striking design features. The properties include:
- Floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the homes with light
- Lush, landscaped gardens
- Sparkling swimming pools perfect for entertaining
- Expansive indoor-outdoor living spaces
The duo represents a rare Hollywood Hills offering, blending classic architectural charm with modern luxury — making it easy to see why buyers jumped at the opportunity.

The Listing Team
The sale was handled by Rick Tyberg, Lauren Duffy, and Abigail Gutwein of Douglas Elliman of California, who orchestrated the successful deal.
