Ronnie Coleman Thinks Jonathan Majors Has the Potential to Be a Pro Bodybuilder
If Jonathan Majors ever decided to switch careers, he might not need to look too far for a new path – he could easily transition into the world of professional bodybuilding, according to weightlifting legend Ronnie Coleman.
In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Coleman, who is an eight-time Mr. Olympia and one of bodybuilding’s biggest icons, praised Majors after the two worked out together in Colombia.
Impressive Performance During Gym Session
The workout, which focused on chest and arms, left Coleman in awe of Majors’ physique. He was quick to recognize that with a bit of coaching, the 35-year-old actor could easily compete at major bodybuilding events. Coleman said, “He is in awesome shape. Awesome shape. He’s in good enough shape now to get on stage and compete as a bodybuilder. And he’s got an awesome physique. He trains pretty regularly.”
Coleman’s Confidence in Majors’ Bodybuilding Potential
Coleman didn’t just throw compliments around – he was genuinely impressed by Majors’ conditioning. “He’s in phenomenal condition. I was kind of shocked about his conditioning,” said the bodybuilding legend. Considering Coleman’s experience and the high standards he holds, this praise from such an iconic figure certainly carries weight.
No Career Change Yet – But ‘Magazine Dreams’ Is on the Horizon
While it seems Majors is currently focused on his acting career, especially with his highly anticipated role in the bodybuilding-themed movie, “Magazine Dreams,” Coleman doesn’t think a career shift is necessary just yet. In fact, he recently got a sneak peek at the film, which hits theaters this Friday, and he loved it. Majors stars in the film, and it promises to showcase his dedication to the sport.
For now, Majors’ acting career remains his focus, but with Coleman’s endorsement, who knows – maybe a future in bodybuilding could be on the horizon.
