Wu-Tang Clan legend RZA already has a suggestion for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s next child, and it’s as bold as it is playful. Speaking with PEOPLE at the premiere of Nobody 2 on Monday, August 11, RZA joked:
“You know what? OBD, because you know the legend must live on.”
This isn’t the first time the hip-hop icon has commented on the couple’s growing family. In 2023, RZA told CNN it was a “great honor” that Rihanna and Rocky chose his name for their eldest son.
“[It’s] a great honor to know that there’s another generation that’s not even of my own household that feels the strength and the inspiration of that name,” he said.
“RZA isn’t only a name, it’s a title. So it’s an honor, and I salute her and A$AP and their family. All the blessings in the world from me.”
Rihanna & Rocky’s Growing Family
Sources close to the couple confirm that they are thrilled to be expanding their family.
“Rihanna and Rocky couldn’t be more thrilled to be growing their family again with baby number three,” the insider told PEOPLE.
“They’ve really embraced this chapter, and their bond has only deepened since becoming parents.”
The source added:
“Rocky has been incredibly attentive and nurturing throughout this pregnancy.”
The Next Baby Will Keep the R Theme
While a final name hasn’t been chosen, it’s certain the couple will stick with their signature “R” theme.
“It’s always going to be an R name. That’s the one thing me and Rocky don’t fight over,” Rihanna shared with Entertainment Tonight.
The couple already has two sons:
- RZA, born May 2022
- Riot, born August 2023
