West Coast rap legend Snoop Dogg is swapping the mic for a spatula—at least part-time—as he reveals his plans to launch a burger pop-up van at Celtic FC’s stadium in Scotland. In an interview with the Sunday Mail, the hip-hop icon shared his love for food and football, confirming that Celtic Park is his dream location for the culinary venture.
“I would love to bring a pop-up burger van to a sports stadium to show fans that food at stadiums can be good,” Snoop said. “It’s got to be Celtic Park, man.”
The Snoop Burger: Love, Spices, and Bacon
Snoop broke down what makes his burger special: secret spices, high-quality cheese, and maple-cured bacon, all cooked with love. “The secret to a good burger is the love in the preparation,” he emphasized.
And for fans? Snoop says he plans to personally serve the burgers himself—at least in the early stages.
He’s Team Celtic, Not Rangers
Snoop has made no secret of his support for Celtic, having previously been spotted wearing the team’s colors. When asked about expanding his burger operation to rival club Rangers, he didn’t mince words:
“Am I going to bring my burgers to Rangers as well? Nah, I think we will give that a miss.”
The move is sure to stir the pot in Scotland’s fierce football rivalry, but it’s also classic Snoop—loyal and bold.
A Dream Team with Gordon Ramsay?
This burger mission may just be the beginning. Snoop has big plans to open a full-scale restaurant in Glasgow, possibly in partnership with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
In a past chat with the Daily Record, Snoop revealed, “I have told him I want to open a restaurant with him… We are always swapping cooking tips… He respects Snoop as a chef.”
Snoop even teased a future as a MasterChef UK judge, joking, “You better believe Snoop could be the new MasterChef judge,” and said Ramsay would back him in that role.
From Rap to Restaurants
Whether it’s cooking, football, or music, Snoop Dogg continues to break boundaries. What started as a burger van could soon evolve into one of the most unexpected culinary collaborations in the UK food scene.
One thing’s for sure: if you’re a Celtic fan, get ready to bite into some West Coast flavor—Snoop-style.
