The Super Bowl is just around the corner, and while millions of fans will be glued to their screens at home, even some of the most high-profile inmates behind bars are gearing up to watch the big game.

Menendez Brothers Cooking Up Prison-Style Fajitas

Sources within the California Department of Corrections tell TMZ that Erik and Lyle Menendez are planning a special Super Bowl feast using commissary ingredients, whipping up prison-style fajitas and pizza. The menu at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego will feature chicken, making it an ideal base for their game-day spread. However, the brothers might face a unique challenge—their prison yard’s poor TV reception could mean they have to watch the game in Spanish.

Suge Knight’s BBQ Plans

Also incarcerated at Richard J. Donovan, Suge Knight has similar plans, reportedly planning to turn the available chicken into BBQ or burritos using whatever is available from the commissary.

Joe Exotic’s Game Day with His Fiancé

Joe Exotic, currently serving time in Fort Worth, Texas, revealed via email that he plans to watch the game with his fiancé, fellow inmate Jorge Flores. He took the opportunity to criticize the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), claiming that due to mismanagement and theft, inmates no longer receive special Super Bowl meals like they used to.

Harvey Weinstein’s Super Bowl Escape

Over at Riker’s Island in NYC, Harvey Weinstein will also be tuning in. His rep, Juda Engelmayer, shared that despite being housed in the infirmary ward, Weinstein plans to kick back and watch the game, aiming for a rare moment of normalcy.

A Temporary Escape from Prison Life

For these high-profile inmates, the Super Bowl offers a temporary distraction from their reality. Whether they’re cooking makeshift meals, watching on spotty reception, or cozying up with fellow inmates, one thing is clear—football fever knows no bounds, even behind bars.
