Ykee Benda, real name Wycliff Tugume, has revealed that he is planning to hold a concert later this year or in early 2026 to celebrate his 10-year milestone in the music industry.
The Mpaka Records boss last held a successful Singa Concert at Serena Hotel in 2019. However, in 2023, despite early preparations, he had to cancel his planned show due to various reasons.
With September 2025 marking a decade in music, Ykee Benda is determined to stage a concert to celebrate his journey and achievements. Speaking on Galaxy TV, the singer revealed that he is flexible with the timing:
“Either late 2025 or early 2026, but if it’s early, then it will be no later than January,” he stated.
He also noted that while he is open to working with a promoter, he is confident that his Mpaka Records team can manage the event independently.
Fans eagerly await further details as Ykee Benda prepares to mark this major career milestone.
