Young Thug is officially back. The Atlanta rap icon has announced plans for his first major tour since being released from jail, marking a highly anticipated new chapter in his career.
Speaking in a live chat with streamer Adin Ross, Thug confirmed he’ll hit the road in early 2026 to support his brand-new album UY Scuti.
“I’m going on tour to begin the next year. I’m gonna take a few people,” Thug revealed. “Quavo, that’s one person that’s going on it.”
Quavo Joins the Lineup
The Migos rapper is one of the first names locked in for the trek. He and Thug already linked up on UY Scuti with the fan-favorite track “Spider Or Jeffery,” and fans can expect to see the two perform it live on stage.
Thug teased that more special guests will be announced soon, keeping anticipation high.
A Star-Studded Album
Thug’s new project, UY Scuti, is stacked with features from some of the biggest names in hip-hop, including:
- Cardi B
- Travis Scott
- Future
- Sexyy Red
- Lil Baby
- 21 Savage
- T.I.
- Mariah the Scientist
- Ken Carson
- YFN Lucci
- Lil Gotit
- 1300Saint
Notably absent? Drake.
Why Drake Isn’t On UY Scuti
Fans quickly noticed that Drake, a frequent collaborator, didn’t make the album’s final tracklist. But Thug cleared up the speculation during a recent appearance on the Its Up There podcast:
“Don’t believe the hype,” he explained. “They say I pulled the album back because I ain’t get the features. Who y’all thought wasn’t gonna be on the album? They’re on the album.
I couldn’t get the Drake feature because he’s on tour. He running around doing a lot of sht. We gonna make up for them not hearing us collab on this album. That’s some sht in store for sure.”
Where Things Stand With Gunna
While Thug has reunited with many of his peers for UY Scuti, one relationship is still fractured: his bond with Gunna.
When asked by Adin Ross if a reunion was possible, Thug shut it down:
“I don’t know. As of right now, I don’t think that can happen. It’s monotonous. Like why?”
Their fallout dates back to Gunna’s 2022 plea deal in the YSL RICO case, a decision that has continued to divide fans and the Atlanta rap community.
Why This Tour Matters
- First tour since jail: Fans have waited years to see Thug return to the stage.
- Quavo confirmed: A high-energy duo with hit potential.
- Anticipation for Drake collab: Even if he’s missing this album, Thug says it’s coming.
- Unfinished business: The Gunna situation remains unresolved, adding tension to Thug’s comeback narrative.
What’s Next
With UY Scuti gaining momentum and a tour on the horizon, Young Thug’s 2026 comeback is shaping up to be one of hip-hop’s biggest stories. The tour dates are expected to drop soon — and if the guest lineup matches the energy of the album, fans are in for something historic.
