Prominent attorney Tony Buzbee, known for representing high-profile sexual assault accusers, has declined to take on Moriah Mills’ potential lawsuit against NBA star Zion Williamson. Speaking to TMZ on June 2, Buzbee confirmed that his office had been approached by Mills but ultimately turned down her case:
“A member of our staff spoke to her,” Buzbee said. “After review, we declined to take her case.”
Buzbee—who helped secure a $640 million jury verdict recently—added that not every case is a fit for his firm:
“We can’t comment about the details or merits of her claims. As you know, we are contacted by numerous people across the United States daily with grievances. We can’t help them all.”
Mills also acknowledged the rejection, telling TMZ that her situation does not fall under Buzbee’s legal purview.
