Nicki Minaj is taking her support for Donald Trump into a new arena — business — with the rapper reportedly tapped as a judge for Trump’s upcoming Million-Dollar Pitch Competition in Washington, D.C.
According to Fox News Digital, Minaj is expected to participate in the September 18 competition, which is being described as a cross between Shark Tank and Trump’s former reality competition The Apprentice.
The event will put five companies against each other for a combined $1 million in prize money. Unlike a traditional elimination-style competition, however, every finalist is set to leave with cash.
The reported prize breakdown gives the winner $400,000, while second place receives $250,000. Third place gets $150,000, fourth takes home $125,000 and fifth receives $75,000.
That means nobody walks away empty-handed — even if they don’t take the top prize.
Actor Dean Cain is set to host the competition, while Joe Gebbia, Trump’s U.S. Chief Design Officer, and equity fund manager Grant Cardone are also expected to play key roles.
For Minaj, the appearance marks another public intersection between her celebrity career and her political alignment with Trump.
The New York rapper has openly supported Trump since 2025 and has described herself as his “number one fan,” according to the supplied report. Cain, Gebbia and Cardone have also been identified as Trump supporters.
The competition’s Apprentice comparison is particularly notable given Trump’s history with the reality series, which helped cement his television persona before his political career reached the White House.
Now, Minaj is reportedly stepping into a role that requires something very different from performing onstage: judging entrepreneurs as they pitch their businesses for a shot at a seven-figure prize pool.
