The UFC President took to Instagram shortly after Maddalena claimed the Welterweight title by decision, calling the intense five-round clash an all-out “WAR.” But it wasn’t just a tough loss for Belal — he walked away with serious battle wounds.
White revealed that Muhammad suffered a broken nose, fractured orbital bone (around the eye), and most noticeably, a horrific lip injury. The graphic image shows Belal’s lip literally split in two, with someone pulling the separated flaps apart to reveal the full extent of the damage.
