Ugandan music queen Sheebah Karungi is setting the record straight on long-standing rumors that she’s been bankrolling bloggers to attack fellow artists — and she’s not holding back.
During a fiery press conference, the “Somebody” hitmaker passionately denied ever hiring anyone to spread negativity about other musicians, insisting she’s built her career on talent, not online drama.
“I have never been in anyone’s studio or called any blogger to write negatively about another artist. I swear to God,” Sheebah said, her voice full of conviction.
She specifically addressed speculation that she’s paid digital warriors to target Spice Diana, her rumored industry rival. Sheebah dismissed the claims as both false and pointless.

“I’ve never paid anyone to fight Spice Diana. Even if I paid 100 bloggers to abuse her, it wouldn’t change the fact that she’s a great artist. Nothing can take that away from her.”
The award-winning star — whose career spans over 20 years — said she has no reason to resort to cheap tactics, pointing to her extensive catalog of hits and a loyal fan base as proof of her staying power.
Sheebah also threw some advice to artists who see her as competition:
“Focus on doing good music and build a fan base that will be loyal to you.”
Her no-nonsense stance is already sparking heated debate among fans, with many praising her for addressing the rumors head-on — while others wonder if this will truly put the whispers to rest.
What’s your take — is Sheebah finally closing the chapter on this blogger beef, or will the drama keep brewing?
