Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, is opening up about her newfound peace in co-parenting her children with Rob Kardashian and Tyga. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the reality star and actress discussed how she maintains healthy dynamics while raising her kids.
“My co-parenting with Rob is 100 percent amazing,” she shared. “For parents that’s going through it right now, I promise you, things do get better.”
Her comments come as a welcome reminder that even high-profile custody situations can evolve into smooth, cooperative partnerships—if boundaries and focus remain clear.
Respecting Boundaries Is Key
Angela credits respecting boundaries as the cornerstone of her successful co-parenting approach. She emphasizes the importance of focusing on one’s own household and not interfering unnecessarily in the other parent’s life.
“If you’re going through a custody battle or anything of the sort, I think the main thing for the other parent is to mind their own business,” she explained with a laugh. “Making assumptions about the other parent can create problems that aren’t really there.”

This philosophy applies equally to her interactions with both Rob and Tyga, ensuring her children remain at the center of every decision.
Joint Custody With a Smooth Dynamic
Angela shares joint custody of her two children:
- King Cairo, with Tyga
- Dream Kardashian, with Rob
“Oh, me and Tyga, we co-parent perfectly. Everybody is, like, Kumbaya,” she joked.
For Angela, the most important rule is always keeping the children’s well-being first.
“You have to do what’s best for the child. We do what’s best for King, we do what’s best for Dream, and still have an open, good communication style,” she said.
She also warns parents against using their children as messengers or getting them involved in adult conflicts, stressing that a healthy co-parenting setup protects the kids emotionally.
Beyond Parenting: Angela’s Acting Ambitions
Outside of her co-parenting responsibilities, Angela White has been working on “Pardon Me”, a biopic about anti-abortion activist Bevelyn B. Williams. She explained that she took the role because it challenges expectations and sparks conversation.
“I knew that it would probably stir up a few things… and that’s exactly why I did it,” she revealed.
The film marks another chapter in Angela’s career reinvention, showing her versatility as both a performer and a public figure unafraid to tackle controversial subjects.

Blac Chyna’s Advice to Other Parents
Angela’s journey offers valuable lessons for parents navigating co-parenting, especially in the spotlight:
- Respect boundaries: Avoid interfering in the other parent’s household.
- Focus on the children: Keep their well-being as the top priority.
- Maintain communication: Foster open, drama-free dialogue.
- Separate adult issues from parenting: Never use kids as messengers.
By following these rules, Angela has been able to create a healthy, peaceful environment for her children while maintaining strong ties with both Rob and Tyga.
Blac Chyna’s story is a powerful example of growth, accountability, and prioritizing family above conflict—even amid high-profile public scrutiny.
