Brandon Hantz

Brandon Hantz, a former Survivor contestant known for his fiery personality, has found himself in serious legal trouble. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas recently unsealed a 22-count indictment, charging Hantz with racketeering conspiracy and arson, while several of his alleged associates face murder charges.

Connection to Bandidos Motorcycle Gang

Hantz, along with 13 other individuals, is accused of being involved with the Bandidos motorcycle gang, a notorious criminal group involved in a turf war with a rival gang known as B*EAST. Prosecutors allege that the Bandidos issued a “smash on site” order against their rivals, which included assault and even murder. Although Hantz is not accused of any direct violence, he is facing up to 20 years for each of the charges he’s been implicated in.

Family Member Confirms FBI Raid

Despite leaving the Bandidos gang last year, a federal law enforcement source confirmed Hantz’s involvement in the case. In a dramatic turn, Hantz’s home was reportedly raided by the FBI on Wednesday, suggesting the depth of his alleged connections to the gang.

Hantz’s Survivor Legacy

Brandon Hantz appeared on Survivor: South Pacific and Survivor: Caramoan, but it’s his volatile moments on Caramoan that remain etched in fans’ memories. His most infamous scene involved an altercation with fellow contestant Phillip Sheppard, which ended with Hantz dumping all the tribe’s food reserves in a fit of rage.

A Family Connection to Infamy

If Hantz’s last name sounds familiar, it’s because of his infamous uncle, Russell Hantz, known as one of the most notorious villains in Survivor history. The Hantz family name is tied to some of the most memorable moments in Survivor lore, but it appears this chapter is far from a game.
