The bodybuilding world is mourning the tragic and untimely death of Guilherme Henrique — affectionately known as Gui Bull — who passed away on Monday at just 30 years old.
The Paraná Fisiculturismo Federation confirmed the heartbreaking news in a Facebook post, remembering Gui as a passionate and dedicated athlete with a “giant-hearted” spirit.
“We remember with fondness your first firm and dedicated steps at Paraná Bodybuilding, where your passion and talent already shone brightly,” the federation wrote. “His journey in bodybuilding was marked by his determination and his love for the sport.”
They extended heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the entire bodybuilding community, assuring them that Gui Bull’s memory would live on.
While the cause of death was initially unclear, Gui’s girlfriend, Jéssica Belenello, took to Instagram to put rumors to rest. In an emotional message, she revealed that his passing was due to asphyxiation from bronchoaspiration — not from any of the speculative causes circulating online.
“Gui is the love of my life,” Belenello wrote in Portuguese. “He was an incredible person, full of light, and he deserves to be remembered that way.”
Gui Bull was a well-respected figure in the Brazilian fitness community, especially in Maringá, and had earned five titles in categories such as Classic Physique and Classic Bodybuilding. In addition to his athletic pursuits, he was also studying Nutrition at the University Center of Maringá.
The bodybuilding world has lost a rising star — one whose strength, kindness, and dedication left a lasting impact.
Rest in peace, Gui Bull.
